Beards For Boobies
In 2019, Nigel Woods brought together Bearded Villains from surrounding Ontario chapters for a CIBC Run for the Cure team. BVLS says the team raised more than $5,300 across 2019 and 2020.

Beards for B.U.C.K.O.
Public coverage describes Lakeshore joining Toronto and Ontario Southwest chapters in a family-friendly charity event supporting Camp B.U.C.K.O., a burn camp for kids in Ontario.

The Compass Food Bank
When Lakeshore hosted the Bearded Villains World Meet in 2026, Compass Food Bank was the local cause attached to the international gathering.
Community mindset
Make people see with their hearts.
That phrase sits inside BVLS’s own mission. The chapter’s public member stories reinforce it with examples of volunteering, homelessness outreach, community events and supporting one another personally.
A chapter milestone
World Meet 2026 left a local footprint.
The event brought the global brotherhood to Lakeshore and connected that gathering with Compass Food Bank. The meet is now part of the chapter’s history rather than an active ticket campaign.
